About SpreadComparison

SpreadComparison.com is an independent comparison website for retail forex and CFD brokers. We publish typical spreads, commissions, regulatory status, minimum deposits and withdrawal times so traders can compare providers before opening an account.

Who runs this site

SpreadComparison is operated as an independent publishing project by a small research team based in the United Kingdom. We are not a broker, we do not hold client funds, we do not offer trading accounts, investment advice or portfolio management, and nothing on this site is a personal recommendation.

How we make money

We are funded by affiliate commissions. When you follow a link to a broker and open an account, the broker may pay us a referral fee at no additional cost to you. Commission never changes the spreads we publish or the order of our comparison tables. See our affiliate disclosure.

How we collect data

Spreads are typical values recorded on each broker's raw or standard retail account during the London–New York overlap, taken from brokers' published pricing pages and live platform data, then averaged. Commission is stated separately where it applies. Spreads are variable and widen around news events and outside main sessions. Read our editorial policy.

Risk warning: CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
