Advertising disclosure: SpreadComparison is an independent comparison site, not a broker. Some links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission. 18+ only, service availability varies by country, and nothing here is investment advice. CFDs are complex instruments with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage — most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs.

Editorial policy and methodology

Data on this site was last reviewed on .

How we source spread data

Spreads are typical values recorded on each broker's raw or standard retail account during the London–New York overlap, taken from the brokers' own published pricing pages and live platform data, then averaged. Commission is quoted separately where the account charges it, so raw and standard accounts can be compared on all-in cost.

How we rank

  • All-in trading cost (spread plus commission) on major pairs and gold
  • Regulatory status of the entity you would actually be onboarded to
  • Retail protections: negative balance protection, segregated funds, compensation scheme cover
  • Withdrawal speed and payment methods
  • Account terms: minimum deposit, platforms, execution model

What we do not do

We do not sell ranking positions, we do not let brokers approve or edit reviews, and we do not publish guaranteed-return, "risk-free" or profit-promising claims. Trading results are never predictable.

Updates and corrections
