Advertising & compliance policy

Last reviewed 2026. This page explains our business model, disclosures and the limits of the information we publish.

Who we are

SpreadComparison is an independent online publisher that compares publicly advertised trading conditions of forex and CFD brokers. We are not a broker, not an introducing broker, and not a financial adviser. We do not hold client funds, do not execute trades, and do not manage money for anyone.

How we make money

Some outbound links to brokers are affiliate links. If a reader opens an account after using one, the broker may pay us a commission. Readers never pay more because of this, and payment never changes a broker's placement on a comparison table.

Every affiliate link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow" and sits next to a visible advertising disclosure. A permanent disclosure strip appears at the top of every page.

What we do not claim

We do not promise profits, guaranteed returns, income, or a specific outcome from trading. We do not present trading as a way to solve financial difficulty. We do not use urgency, countdowns, or pressure tactics. Figures such as spreads, commissions and minimum deposits are the broker's own advertised terms, are subject to change, and should be verified on the broker's website.

Risk information

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Readers should consider whether they understand how CFDs work and whether they can afford to take the high risk of losing their money. Professional-client and offshore accounts give up protections such as negative balance protection and FSCS cover.

Audience and availability

Content is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Broker availability, leverage limits and account types vary by country of residence, and some brokers do not accept clients from certain jurisdictions. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation where such an offer would be unlawful.

How our data is sourced

Spread, commission, regulation and deposit information is collected from broker websites, published account documentation and regulator registers. Each comparison table carries a visible last-reviewed date and a methodology note. Where a figure is a typical or advertised value rather than a live quote, we say so.

Corrections and contact

If any figure or statement here is inaccurate, contact us at contact@spreadcomparison.com and we will correct or remove it. Brokers and regulators may request corrections through the same address.
