Before you open an Exness Pro account
Exness Pro is different from its Raw Spread and Zero accounts. It typically combines tighter advertised spreads than Standard with no separate trading commission. However, spreads are variable, and commission-free does not mean cost-free: swaps, currency conversion and other applicable charges can affect your results.
Commonly advertised Pro conditions include:
- Spreads: from 0.1 pips, rather than a guaranteed trading spread.
- Trading commission: no separate commission on Pro trades.
- Initial deposit: commonly advertised from US$200, but the requirement varies by region.
- Platforms: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, subject to availability.
- Execution: typically instant execution for most supported instruments, with market execution for cryptocurrencies; confirm current instrument specifications.
Eligibility, leverage and protections depend on your country and the Exness legal entity serving you. Do not assume that a licence held by one group company covers your account. Exness does not accept residents of every country.
Exness Pro account creation: step by step
1. Register through the official website
Visit the official Exness website directly and choose the registration option. Enter your actual country of residence, email address and a strong, unique password. Read the applicable client agreement before accepting it.
Avoid registration links sent by unsolicited social-media contacts. Never share your password, verification codes or remote access to your device with someone offering to “activate” an account.
2. Complete your profile and verification
Inside your Personal Area, complete the requested personal details and economic profile. Verify your email address and phone number if prompted.
You will typically need a government-issued identity document and may need proof of residential address. Accepted documents and requirements vary by jurisdiction. Upload clear, complete images with details matching your profile. Verification times vary; do not rely on promises of instant approval.
3. Create a new Pro trading account
In the accounts area, select the option to open a new trading account. Choose Pro, then select a real account when you are ready to trade with money. A demo account, where available, is useful for learning the platform first.
Select MT4 or MT5, your account currency and the leverage offered to you. Set the trading password and account nickname if requested. Menu labels may change, so follow the current on-screen instructions.
Check these choices carefully: platform and account currency generally cannot be changed on an existing trading account. You may need to create another account instead.
4. Confirm conditions before depositing
Check the initial deposit requirement displayed for your region and account. A payment method’s minimum transaction amount is not necessarily the Pro account’s initial funding requirement.
Review withdrawal rules, processing estimates, conversion charges and available payment methods. Use a payment account in your own name and do not deposit money you cannot afford to lose.
5. Connect to MT4 or MT5
Install the platform from an official source. Find your trading account number and server in the Personal Area, then log in using your trading credentials—not simply your website login.
Before placing an order, check the symbol’s contract size, minimum trade size, spread, margin requirement and overnight financing. Instant execution can produce requotes when prices move; it does not guarantee that every order fills at your requested price.
Is Exness Pro the right choice?
Exness Pro may suit traders who prefer spread-based pricing without a separate commission. Its appeal depends on the instruments and sessions you trade, not just the advertised minimum spread.
If you are a beginner, practise on demo first. High leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and a smaller margin requirement does not make a position safer.
Featured alternative: Vantage
Vantage is worth comparing if you want raw-spread pricing or a different platform selection. The Vantage group includes FCA- and ASIC-regulated entities, but your contracting entity depends on residence and eligibility. Those regulatory protections do not automatically apply to every Vantage customer.
Vantage advertises raw spreads from 0.0 pips on relevant accounts, typically with a separate commission. It offers MT4, MT5 and TradingView, with availability depending on the entity and account arrangement.
Compare like for like: assess Exness Pro’s spread-only pricing against Vantage’s spread plus commission, alongside swaps, execution and withdrawal conditions. Neither advertised minimum establishes which broker will be cheaper for your trades.
Open a Vantage account if its current terms and available entity meet your needs.
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Vantage is an advertising partner; we may earn a commission.
