Check whether Exness accepts your country
Start on the official Exness website and review its restricted-country information and registration form. Your country of residence—not simply your nationality or current travel location—is a key part of eligibility. Other factors, including age, sanctions restrictions and identity-document requirements, may also affect acceptance.
A country appearing in a registration menu is not a guarantee of approval. If the rules are unclear, ask Exness support whether residents of your country can open a retail trading account and which legal entity would hold it.
Before proceeding, check:
- Availability: Does Exness currently accept residents of your country?
- Contracting entity: Which company appears in the proposed client agreement?
- Regulation: Can you verify that company on the relevant regulator’s register?
- Local requirements: Are there restrictions on overseas CFD accounts, payments or tax reporting?
Do not use a VPN, false address or someone else’s documents to bypass eligibility checks. Regulatory permissions held by one group company do not automatically protect clients of another.
How to sign up for an Exness account
1. Register using accurate details
Access the official website directly rather than through unsolicited messages. Select your genuine country of residence, enter your email address and create a strong, unique password. Read the agreement and risk disclosures before accepting them.
2. Complete your profile and verification
Provide the requested personal information and answer any financial-background or trading-experience questions honestly. Complete the contact-verification steps shown in your account.
Identity verification typically requires a valid government-issued document. Proof of residence may also be required, depending on the entity and onboarding process. Follow the document types, issue-date limits and image-quality instructions displayed in your account; requirements are not identical everywhere.
Verification times vary. Unclear images, inconsistent names or additional compliance checks can delay approval, so avoid planning a time-sensitive trade around registration.
3. Choose your trading account
Exness offers different account structures, including spread-based and commission-based options. Compare the products actually available under your entity rather than assuming every globally advertised account is accessible.
Check the account currency, available platforms, minimum funding requirement, commissions, swap conditions and leverage limits. An advertised spread “from” a particular level is a minimum, not the typical cost of every trade. Spreads can widen during news events or thin liquidity.
4. Review funding and withdrawals
Use the payment methods displayed in your verified account. Availability, processing times, transaction limits and currency-conversion costs depend on your location and payment provider.
Use a payment account in your own name and read the withdrawal rules before depositing. Check for payment-provider charges even if a broker advertises no handling fee. A demo account can help you practise platform use without risking deposited funds, although demo execution does not fully replicate live trading.
Exness versus Vantage: what should you compare?
Exness may suit eligible traders who value its account selection and locally available funding options. However, suitability depends on the specific entity, total trading costs and protections in your jurisdiction—not just the broker’s brand.
Vantage is our featured alternative. The Vantage group includes FCA- and ASIC-regulated entities, but your residence determines which entity, if any, can onboard you. Do not assume those regulatory protections apply to every Vantage account.
Vantage advertises raw spreads from 0.0 pips on relevant accounts, with commissions applying. It offers MT4, MT5 and TradingView, subject to entity, account and regional availability. Advertised minimum spreads are not guaranteed execution prices or typical all-in costs.
Compare both brokers on:
- Total costs: Typical spreads for your instruments, commissions, overnight financing and conversion charges.
- Client protections: Client-money arrangements, negative balance protection and complaint routes under your actual entity.
- Practical fit: Platform access, withdrawal methods, support availability and local eligibility.
If Vantage accepts residents of your country and its terms suit your needs, Open a Vantage account. Review the assigned entity and disclosures before funding.
Before you deposit
Confirm eligibility directly, save the applicable agreement and start with a demo if you are unfamiliar with leveraged trading. Neither quick registration nor a low advertised spread establishes that an account is appropriate for you.
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Vantage is an advertising partner; we may earn a commission.
