Which Exness account suits a large deposit?
Pro: straightforward, commission-free pricing
Exness Pro typically suits traders who prefer trading costs built into the spread rather than a separate commission. Spreads are advertised from 0.1 pips, with no trading commission.
Pro generally offers instant execution for most instruments and market execution for cryptocurrencies. Instant execution can involve requotes, so test your instruments during the sessions you actually trade. A large deposit does not remove execution risk.
Best fit: discretionary traders seeking relatively tight spreads without calculating a separate per-lot charge.
Raw Spread: compare the full transaction cost
Raw Spread advertises spreads from 0.0 pips, with commission advertised at up to $3.50 per lot per side, depending on the instrument. At that rate, opening and closing one lot costs $7 in commission, before spread and any other applicable costs.
This structure can suit frequent traders because commissions are easier to model. However, the advertised minimum spread is not a typical spread across every instrument or trading session.
Best fit: active traders who compare average spreads, commissions and execution quality together.
Zero: check each instrument’s commission
Zero advertises zero spreads on selected instruments for specified portions of the trading day. That does not mean every instrument stays at zero, particularly during volatile conditions.
Commissions are instrument-specific, advertised from $0.05 per lot per side. That starting figure should not be treated as the likely charge on your preferred currency pair. Check its current contract specification before comparing Zero with Raw Spread.
Best fit: traders concentrating on particular instruments where the actual spread-plus-commission calculation is favourable.
Standard and Standard Cent
Standard advertises spreads from 0.2 pips without trading commission. It can remain reasonable for a larger balance if you trade infrequently and its total costs are competitive for your strategy.
Standard Cent is primarily useful for small-scale live testing rather than deploying substantial capital. Instrument availability and position limits also deserve attention.
Professional account minimum deposits are often advertised from $200, but regional requirements can be higher. Meeting a minimum is not evidence that an account is suitable for a large deposit.
What matters more than the account label?
Before transferring substantial funds, work through these checks:
- Legal entity and protection: Identify the Exness company named in your agreement. Segregation rules, complaints routes and any compensation arrangements depend on that entity, not just the group’s regulatory licences.
- Leverage and equity: Exness leverage availability depends on equity, instruments and other conditions. Higher balances can mean lower maximum leverage, while higher margin requirements may apply around events or market closures. Do not plan around headline unlimited leverage.
- Execution at your trade size: Compare slippage, rejected orders or requotes, maximum order sizes and liquidity during your usual sessions. Tight quoted spreads do not guarantee an execution price.
- Funding and withdrawals: Verify payment limits, supported currencies, conversion charges and same-name payment requirements. Prepare source-of-funds documents and test a withdrawal before increasing funding substantially.
- Holding costs: Check swaps and any conditions attached to swap-free status. For longer holding periods, financing can outweigh a small spread saving.
Keep trading capital separate from emergency savings. A broker account is not a bank savings account, and a larger deposit does not make leveraged trading safer.
Exness versus Vantage for a large balance
Exness offers distinct commission-free and commission-based pricing choices. Its Pro, Raw Spread and Zero accounts give traders useful ways to match costs to their strategy.
Vantage is our featured alternative, particularly if you want to compare platform access and entity-level regulation. The Vantage group includes FCA- and ASIC-regulated entities, advertises raw spreads from 0.0 pips, and offers MT4, MT5 and TradingView, subject to account, entity and regional availability.
Those licences do not mean every Vantage customer receives UK or Australian protections. Confirm which entity will onboard you, its retail leverage restrictions, client-money rules and applicable protections. Compare commissions, typical spreads, financing and withdrawal terms—not just advertised minimum spreads.
