First, identify where registration stops
Exness registration, identity verification and trading-account access are separate steps. Identify which one is failing:
- Registration form: Your email, password or country selection is not accepted.
- Security check: An email or SMS verification code does not arrive.
- Identity verification: Your documents are pending or rejected.
- Account access: You registered successfully but cannot enter your Personal Area or trading platform.
Save the error wording and note the time, device and browser. Do not include passwords or verification codes in screenshots shared with anyone.
Common Exness sign-up problems and solutions
Email already registered or password rejected
If Exness says your email already exists, try the official password-reset process rather than creating another profile. You may have started registration previously, even if you never deposited.
For a rejected password, follow the requirements displayed on the current registration screen. Check for accidental spaces, keyboard-language changes and autofill inserting an old password. Use a unique password and save it securely.
Verification email or SMS does not arrive
Confirm that the email address or phone number is correct, including the international dialling code. Check spam folders, blocked senders and SMS filtering. Mobile reception and carrier restrictions can also affect delivery.
Wait for the on-screen resend timer before requesting another code. Use the newest code because earlier ones may no longer work. Repeated requests can trigger temporary limits; if that happens, follow the displayed waiting period or contact support.
Country unavailable or residency not accepted
Exness availability depends on your residence and the legal entity offering the account. If your country is missing or registration is restricted, technical troubleshooting may not resolve it.
Do not select a false country, use someone else's address or use a VPN to bypass eligibility checks. Ask official support whether residents of your country are currently accepted. Another broker may also have restrictions, so check eligibility before applying elsewhere.
Registration page freezes or keeps loading
Open the official Exness website directly rather than through an unsolicited message. Then try these steps:
- Update your browser or official mobile app.
- Clear site-specific cookies and cache, then restart.
- Try a private window or another current browser.
- Temporarily disable extensions that block necessary scripts or cookies.
- Switch to a trusted connection and turn off a VPN or proxy.
Avoid public Wi-Fi when uploading identity documents. If multiple devices show the same error, the issue may be service-side; check official notices or contact support.
Identity or address documents are rejected
Use the document types requested inside your account. Requirements can differ by country and entity. Your legal name, date of birth and address should match the information you entered.
Upload clear, unedited images showing every required edge and detail. Avoid glare, cropped pages and expired identification. For proof of address, follow the displayed rules on document type and recency rather than assuming any bill is acceptable.
Read the rejection reason before uploading again. If your name uses a different spelling or transliteration, ask support how to resolve the mismatch. Approval times vary; no reliable fix guarantees instant verification.
Registered successfully but cannot log in?
Your Exness Personal Area credentials are not necessarily your MT4 or MT5 trading credentials. A platform login normally requires the correct trading-account number, trading password and server. MT4 accounts do not work in MT5, or vice versa.
Check the account details in your Personal Area. Never give a third party remote access or pay an “activation agent” to fix registration.
When to contact Exness support
Use contact options on the official website or app. Provide the error text, affected step, device, approximate time and troubleshooting already attempted. Upload sensitive documents only through an official secure channel when requested. A deposit is not a troubleshooting step and will not fix identity or eligibility errors.
Exness versus Vantage: a practical alternative
Exness may remain suitable if the issue is a correctable browser or document problem. Switching brokers does not remove identity checks or residency restrictions.
Our featured alternative, Vantage, has FCA- and ASIC-regulated entities within its group. Your actual entity depends on eligibility and onboarding; those protections do not automatically apply to every Vantage client.
Vantage advertises raw spreads from 0.0 pips on relevant accounts, with commissions and other costs potentially applying. Minimum advertised spreads are not typical all-in trading costs. MT4, MT5 and TradingView access are offered, subject to account and regional availability.
Compare the assigned entity, total costs, withdrawal methods and platform access before choosing. Open a Vantage account.
